# Quickstart

> From download to a working pricing rule in five minutes.

**1. Install the plugin**

Download the plugin zip from [your account](https://www.joinerywp.com/account) and upload it in **Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin**. WordPress offers to install **Joinery Core** from WordPress.org at the same time, because every Joinery plugin needs it.

**2. Add your licence key**

Go to **Joinery → Plugins & licence**, paste the key from your account or purchase email, and click **Activate**. Updates then arrive in **Dashboard → Updates** like any other plugin. Staging, development and local sites don't count toward your site limit.

**3. Create a rule**

Open **Joinery → Rules** and click **Add rule**. For example, for bulk pricing on hardware:

* **When**: Product category is any of *Hardware*
* **Then**: Tiered price by quantity: 10% off from 10 items, 20% off from 50

Save, and add 10 hardware items to your cart. The cart and checkout, classic or block, show the lower price straight away.

> Rules from every Joinery plugin live on this one screen. A wholesale customer group from B2B & Wholesale, for example, can be a condition in a Dynamic Pricing rule.
